***UPDATE AS OF MARCH 10th*** picked up the truck on Friday the 6th. I want to say I am really struggling with editing this review. The service department, the manager James in particular, has been absolutely phenomenal. Really picking up the pieces after the sales department gave us the run around. Now full transparency we did get a new (reman) engine for the truck installed. Grin the sales manager pitched in 2k towards the engine replacement. But the process wasn’t without issue. Grins lack of communication continued to be an issue. Once he decided he would be willing to help with the motor (only after leaving a one star review) he told me a used replacement engine was about $3500 for parts and about the same for labor. Shortly after that he called and told me his service manager James was able to find a rebuilt engine from Chevy for and I quote “a few hundred bucks more” well that was a lie but I took him on his word and that was a mistake. The engine alone ended up costing just under 6100 for the engine alone. With no parts or labor. Total original cost of repair was $10,283.69. $2k of which grin did pitch in making my cost 8k and some change. Total cost out of our pocket after all was said and done was $7,013.59. James (service manager) is the real star of the show here and truly the only reason I am changing my review. He went above and beyond to do everything he possibly could to make up for grin’s shortcomings by reducing prices for parts, labor and still taking care of us to this date. Final verdict: would I purchase another vehicle here? No. Not a chance. But if I need service would I go see James? Absolutely 100%. Purchased used truck Jan 17, 2026 – cracked engine block by Jan 28, no temp tag (paid for it), manager Grin Pearce unresponsive My company purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Classic 2WD work truck (utility bed, 83,000 miles) from Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful on January 17, 2026. It looked and drove fine during the test drive—no obvious issues. Just 11 days later, on January 28, 2026, after only about 300 miles, we discovered a crack in the engine block. This is a catastrophic failure requiring a full engine replacement. The truck has been sitting undrivable ever since, causing significant downtime and costs for our business. We didn’t drive it much in those first days partly because the dealership forgot to provide the temporary tag we paid for as part of the purchase. This made us hesitant to use it extensively until paperwork was resolved, adding unnecessary hassle right away. I remained calm and professional throughout. I contacted store manager Grin Pearce soon after the issue, sent detailed photos and videos, and he said he’d consult his mechanics and “see what he can do to help.” The last response I received was one week ago. Since then, despite multiple follow-up calls and texts, he has not replied or provided any updates—no offer to inspect, no assistance, complete silence. We are a small, family-run business, and this truck was purchased specifically as a reliable work vehicle to support our daily operations. A major engine failure this quickly—combined with the missing temp tag and now zero follow-up from management—is not a small mistake for us. It’s caused real financial strain, lost productivity, and eroded trust in what should have been a straightforward transaction. While used vehicles are often sold “as-is,” expecting basic communication and good faith isn’t unreasonable. Other reviews mention similar experiences: quick post-sale mechanical problems, unresponsive staff (including cases with Grin), ignored communications, and administrative oversights like paperwork delays. I strongly recommend a thorough independent pre-purchase inspection on any used vehicle here—and be prepared for potential lack of support if issues arise afterward. 1 star. The truck met our needs on the lot, but the immediate failure, paperwork mistake, and ongoing lack of response have been extremely frustrating and costly.
I came in to look at a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. I’ve spent weeks looking at plenty of teslas and different dealerships. I’ve had a rough go the last time I tried to buy a vehicle as well. Haroon was the salesman who helped me today. Showed me the car, we took it for a drive and talked, and he was honest through the process which is something I appreciate a ton. Would definitely recommend him if you plan to buy a car!
